SonarBeam SB-100A is remotely operated ADCP sonar boat system.
SonarBeam SB-100A is attached ADCP sensor and GPS system. It is possible to apply water column profiling to ocean observation. User can select the DGPS for optional. It is the wireless communication system. It is use the IEEE 802.11g, 2.4 GHz wireless LAN protocol and omni directional antenna.
SonarBeam SB-100A system consist of 5 main parts (Surface Hull, ADCP, Control Unit, Deck Unit, Battery Box).
First, Because surface hull is make of the fiberglass reinforced plastic, It is very compact and portable system. It use the 12 VDC motor controller. Attached ADCP can use for the water column profiling. Potable Topside Processor (Deck Unit) that is to display and analyze the acquisition signal. Battery Box is provide the 24VDC, 100W power input. Remote Control Unit is digital 6 channel and Operating frequency is 40 / 72MHz.
Providing software is ADCP operating software.
SonarBeam SB-100A is used for the water column profiling, harbor defense, remotely monitor water currents, bathymetry survey, survey of doppler velocity. Plug in a GPS and user can get the coordination of operating location.
