SonarBeam SB-100S is remotely operated sonar boat system.
SonarBeam SB-100S is attached S-150P type Towfish (T-150P) and built in depth sensor, GPS system. User can select the DGPS for optional. It provides the 400, 900, 1250kHz single frequency, 400/900, 400/1250kHz dual frequency.
SonarBeam SB-100S is the wireless communication system. It is use the IEEE 802.11g, 2.4 GHz wireless LAN protocol and omni directional antenna.
SonarBeam SB-100S system consist of 5 main parts : Surface Hull, Towfish, Remote Control Unit, Deck Unit, Battery Box.
First, Because surface hull is make of the fiberglass reinforced plastic, It is very compact and portable system. It use the 12 VDC motor controller.
T-150P type Towfish is attached bellow the boat hull body. Portable topside processor (Deck Unit) that is to display and analyze the acquisition signal. Battery Box is provide the 24VDC, 100W power input. Remote Control Unit is digital 6 channel and Operating frequency is 40 / 72MHz.
Providing software is RealScan¢ē and PostScan¢ē. RealScan¢ē is the Software of SonarBeam Sonar system which serves as the data acquisition and display in real-time. PostScan¢ē is post processing software and makes it possible to analyze the acquired sonar data.
SonarBeam SB-100S is used for the harbor defense, underwater architecture survey, search of a drowned body, search & recovery, hydrographic survey, survey of fish reefs. Plug in a GPS and user can get the coordination of operating location.
